PRIVACY & USE

Your audio.
Clear expectations.

What is processed

The service processes the YouTube video link you submit, your conversion settings, and temporary audio files. Depending on the configured acquisition method, the server requests media from YouTube directly or sends your video link to Samplecut (samplecut.app), an external audio service. Samplecut then processes the link under its own privacy policy. Payment details and supporter tokens are not sent to that audio service. Your IP address is processed to handle requests; a salted hash is stored temporarily for submission limits. Job IDs and access tokens protect temporary downloads.

Temporary files

Source files are deleted after processing or a failure. Finished audio expires after the period shown in the converter. Cleanup runs periodically; files are not deleted at the exact expiration second. Expired job records are removed after an additional day. Interrupted processing jobs are also cleaned up.

This browser

A supporter session token may be kept in local storage until you forget it on this device. The current job, pending order capability and conversion settings may be kept in session storage to resume after a reload or checkout. Your preferred bitrate and interface language may be stored on this device. A random free-access token is stored in this browser; its hash and lifetime download count are retained on the server to enforce the 15-download free allowance. This count survives deletion of temporary audio and does not reset. Clearing browser storage or changing devices creates a separate allowance; this is a browser limit, not verified personal identity. This version does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Do not share supporter keys or download access tokens.

For direct preview and download, a necessary HttpOnly cookie grants access to one temporary MP3. It expires with that file and contains no payment details. It is not an advertising or analytics cookie.

Support and payments

Only configured payment methods are shown. A payment provider has its own privacy policy and checkout terms. Crypto donations require the exact network displayed. When automated lava.top checkout is enabled, your purchase email, order, amount and currency are sent to the payment provider; media links and files are not. Access is issued only after server verification. A transactional email provider delivers one-hour, single-use recovery links. Active order records are retained while access remains available, and expired or revoked orders are removed once they are at least 180 days old. Processed notification payloads are removed after 30 days; hashed event identifiers without email or payload are kept to prevent replay; recovery records are removed one day after link expiry. The payment provider retains its own records. Crypto donations do not automatically unlock access. Unconfigured payment methods remain hidden.

Allowed use

Only submit YouTube links for content you have permission to download and process. You are responsible for applicable rights and source-platform conditions. A video being publicly viewable does not itself grant download permission. The service does not support private videos, active streams or playlists, and availability depends on the source.

Limits and availability

File size, source duration, bitrate and submission limits are shown in the converter. Third-party restrictions or technical errors may prevent processing. MP3 bitrate is an output setting and cannot restore information lost in the source recording.

Operator setup before public launch

This MVP requires the operator to publish their identity and contact details, the privacy information required for their jurisdiction, and payment/support terms before accepting public payments. This development notice is not a completed legal policy for a production business.
